Originally, this account was made just so I can comment on other people's deviations, but I decided to start making my own. I took a break from art to pursue other interests, but now that I've actually taken a class, I've rediscovered my love for it. I now take my art very seriously.

Update (1/18/22): It's hard to find the motivation to produce the works I used to. Taking too much time off stunts growth. I have so many ideas I can't put on paper. I really liked what I've been able to do with colored pencils but they're so much more time consuming than oil pastels. I've been working on the same picture for a year now that could have been finished in a month tops if I had the same drive I used to. Living in a 530 sq. ft. one bedroom apartment is not very inspiring or conducive to drawing. I have no space to do anything. All my supplies are rotting in the garage. I need a bigger place where I can have a dedicated art room.
